501c3 Anti-Trafficking NGO

Tulkas Initiatives Inc. is a US-based NGO founded to combat human trafficking in SE Asia. We see that the root cause of systemic evil, particularly human trafficking, is deeply spiritual in nature, so we aim first to introduce Christ to both traffickers and sex tourists alike to heal the brokenness that drives the entire industry.

Each person that chooses to follow Jesus will over time be deeply transformed by the work of the Holy Spirit to the point where they will not only be stop participating in the human trafficking environment, but can become a powerful ally to reach other people in their circles for Christ.

This approach was inspired by first-hand experience serving with the main players of the counter-trafficking coalition in SE Asia where we would see countless victims rescued from trafficking rings, many traffickers arrested, and thousands of customers cycling through, without much lasting change to the trafficking landscape.

It felt like sending a sick person to work with a bottle of cough medicine instead of vitamins and rest. Will the cough medicine be beneficial? Yes. Will it heal the person? No. We saw what will.

Christ can heal every aspect of the problem.

We have personally witnessed victims of sex trafficking find healing and renewed purpose through Christ's work in Christian NGOs.

We feel the calling to extend that model to the traffickers and customers. A person transformed by the Holy Spirit to love people and follow God will not traffic people or frequent brothels.

They are incompatible.

However, not everyone will choose to follow Jesus, so we reserve a plan B to work alongside local agencies to gather actionable intelligence on trafficking rings and bring down their networks.

Our Needs

God is the actual founder and driver of this entire initiative, so talking to Him is essential for us to be productive. We share our prayer requests via a "bulletin board" on the messaging platform Whatsapp. Please contact us for further details on how to access it.

We have learned that it is foolish to do any ministry alone, particularly in something as complex as international anti-trafficking or church planting. So if you are a translator, part of a relevant NGO in SE Asia, missionary organization, or simply someone with access to Bibles in other languages, please reach out to us so we can collaborate.

Financially, we are comfortable sitting in God's hands. He has consistently provided for us in times of need, and we expect that trend to continue. However, He uses people like you to make it happen.
